What wondrous love is this, o my soul?

What wondrous love is this

that caused the lord of bliss

to bear the dreadful curse for my soul, for my soul;

Che amore meraviglioso è questo, anima mia? Che amore meraviglioso è questo per cui il Signore della gioia ha affrontato la Passione per la mia anima. 

A Dio e all’Agnello io canterò, a Dio e all’Agnello che è il grande “Io sono” mentre milioni si uniscono alla melodia io canterò. 

E quando sarò libero dalla morte continuerò a cantare, e quando sarò libero dalla morte canterò e sarò felice e per tutta l’eternità continuerò a cantare.
